Refund Policy

Last updated: 2026.08.05

AI Market complies with the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and other applicable laws, and operates the following refund standards for safe transactions. 1. Escrow payment structure All payments are held securely by the platform until purchase confirmation, and are settled to the seller after confirmation. If a refund is approved before purchase confirmation, the payment is returned to the original payment method. 2. Refunds for one-time service purchases - Before work begins: a full refund is available. - While work is in progress: a partial refund may be arranged with the seller based on the progress made. - After purchase confirmation: refunds are not available in principle. However, if the deliverable differs materially from the service description, you may file for dispute mediation. 3. Refunds for AI development projects - Project payments made after a proposal is accepted are fully refundable until work begins. - If a contract is terminated mid-project, the refund amount is determined by agreement between the parties or through the dispute mediation process, based on the work already performed. 4. Refunds for subscription services - If the service has not been used, a full refund is available within 7 days of payment. - Upon cancellation, renewal stops from the next billing cycle; the remaining portion of an already-paid period may not be refundable due to the nature of the service. 5. Cases where refunds are limited - Requests to refund completed work due to a simple change of mind - Rework caused by errors in the materials or requirements provided by the buyer - Transactions conducted outside the platform 6. Refund process 1) Submit a refund request from your order history (with the reason) 2) Seller confirmation and Company review 3) Upon approval, the payment is returned to the original payment method (card refunds may take 3-7 business days depending on the card issuer) 7. Dispute mediation If the buyer and seller disagree on refund terms, the Company may propose a resolution based on the transaction records. If mediation fails, either party may apply for mediation with an external body such as the Electronic Commerce Dispute Mediation Committee. Effective date: July 17, 2026
