Challenge & Approach
Escaped surface defects were costing a tier-1 supplier warranty claims. We engineered lighting and optics per station, trained detection on their defect taxonomy, and gave operators a stop-light dashboard with lot traceability. Escape rate down 93%, false rejects tuned under 0.8%.
